With a particular interest in the proximity senses (smell, taste and touch), Yolanda’s interest is in the synesthetic connections between sound and smell; asking how we will use and relate to our senses in the upcoming digital era.

Using digital tools combined with DIY perfumery, exploring materials or messing around in the Fab-Lab, Yolanda’s work materialises in installations and performances that have been presented at fstivals like Sonic Acts (NL), WRO Media-Art Biennale (PL), Kontraste (AU), STRP (NL), Ars Electronica
AT), Todays Art (NL) and Transmediale (DE).
