‘Feedback Study #4’ is an electronic music performance which inquires into the relationships between sound, presence and space: an interplay between the room where the piece takes place, the audience that occupy it and a performer –myself– controlling and processing a series of audio feedback loops created by miking and amplifying the space, thus revealing the sonic qualities of the room and the effect of our presence on it.

The performer is in charge of balancing, mixing and processing in a number of ways the audio feedback signals, continuously seeking for musical materials (beatings, rhythms, intervals, melodies…) in the occurring sounds, which in turn are influenced by the movements and position of the audience within the space. This results in a highly delicate and immersive work.
