Maria Oosterveen makes art that is philosophical and political and has a tendency to be interactive and/or performative. Most of the time her works attempt to touch your sense of compassion. Not empathy but healthy compassion where you can reflect upon yourself.  Maria works closely with iii and is a student at the ArtScience interfaculty Art-Science (Royal Academy of Art and the Royal Conservatoire the Hague). In her spare time, she works as a professional model in several fields. Maria currently lives in the Hague (NL).
