Synomones is an exhibition that presents three installations by Yolanda Uriz: Maziterido, ~.Soinusain.~ and Chemical Ecosystem.

The project takes its name from the term “Synomone” which refers to a chemical compound emitted by organisms to communicate with other species, benefiting both the emitter and the receiver.

The three works make up an immersive journey to navigate between sculptures that radiate fragrances and sounds, interacting from a post-anthropocentric perspective. It tries to show models of relationship with the environment based on dynamics of listening and cooperation, instead of the prevailing current model that promotes instant profit without taking care of future consequences, without empathy towards the environment it inhabits or towards its members.
