Funding applications can be a hassle. Especially if you’re working on them alone. Come to the funding application clinic at iii, where you can consult 1 of 3 advisors from the iii team and trade information and ideas with other artists. Whether you’re just starting out, polishing up a draft, or fine-tuning your final submission, join us to receive valuable insights, feedback, and support.

How it works:
Sign up for your 20-minute slot with one of the advisors
Send your application and any specific questions you have by May 6 Come to iii at least 10 min before your slot
The space will be divided into three sections:
Advisory table – where the advisors will be
Group work table – where you can work on your application with others
Quiet table – where you can work on your application in peace (bring your own headphones)

About the advisors:
Daniëlle de Hoog has a background in art history and is. currently the finance manager of The Grey Space in the Middle and managing director of Highlight Delft. She has also written and supported funding applications for organisations and artists such as 1646, Page Not Found, Philip Vermeulen, and TodaysArt.
Matteo Marangoni is an artist interested in ritual arenas, home brewed inventions and applied utopianism. Involved with grassroots organisations since the age of 16 in his hometown of Florence, he studied cultural management before moving to The Hague, where he obtained his masters diploma from the ArtScience Interfaculty. He co-founded the artist initiative iii, leading its activities for 10 years until 2023. He also co-founded WD4X, which provides permanent and affordable workspaces to over 45 artists.
He has 13 years of experience writing grant applications in the Dutch cultural sector at different scales, from individual artistic projects to multi-year institutional funding. He has particular experience with the following funds: Creative Industries Fund NL, Performing Arts Fund, Stroom The Hague, Municipality of The Hague, and Cultuurfonds.
Yannik Güldner (DE) is an auto-didact curator and programmer based in The Hague, investigating the intersections of contemporary and popular culture. He is interested in creating narratives across the borders of disciplines that interlink art, science and academia. At iii he contributes to artistic development, coordinates the activities of the agency, and curates Proximity Music.
