Experimental Instrument Workshop

At the “Experimental Instrument workshop”, the students will learn how to design and develop new music instruments or sound installations, such as alternative gestural controllers and augmented musical instruments. During the sessions, each participant is encouraged to test their prototypes by practicing, presenting and playing them. We will be covering some design concepts such as designing by value and testing cycles in order to verify the results on users and audiences. At the end of the course, the students will be able to apply and share innovative and creative ideas into music practice and their instruments.
