In this workshop participants will discover that you can see sounds and hear images by working with the Graphite Synthesizer alongside sound artist Dewi de Vree. The Graphite Synthesizer is a simple electronic instrument that can translate drawings into sound. What does a short or long line sound like, circles or a pattern of square surfaces? And how do all the drawings sound together? At the end of the workshop there will be an improvisation with all the instruments drawn. No prior knowledge of electronics is required for this workshop.
