Driven by a fascination for rhythm embodiment but also with an aim to provide space for artists of colour who are inspired by ancestral homelands, Rachwill Breidel curates a late-night immersive experience that will move you to dance instinctively. Leaning on his Surinamese roots, the program is inspired by the Winti belief system that preserved the customs of West-African tribes within the colonial reality of Suriname. A supernatural spirit of the event is induced by live experimental performance and dance music that possess the body with rhythmical structures and seek an altered state of consciousness.
Audt98
Hailing from the future, audt98 is making intelligent electronic interpretations that reflect the ways of nature. Using mostly analog machines he morphs electricity into melodies, and electro rhythms. With his first EP out on Discos Atónicos he makes a promising debut, making us curious for what will happen in the future. Next to productions he’s known for his eclectic DJ-sets that flow across multiple genres, but find their base in electro and techno. They are gritty, base driven and pushing forward, but fall into a serene water like atmosphere when needed. With recent performances at respected places like HÖR Berlin, Clone Records, United Identities and Club BRET, Audt98 always surprises with sincerity and love.
Derozan
Derozan is reinventing what electronic music is and can be. The charming DJ draws on cinematic storytelling and film scores to inspire his sets – which are arguably scores in themselves
CyberFairy777
CyberFairy777, a Tehran-born Persian Prince(ss), is a musical storyteller who delivers deep, emotional, and psychedelic sets. They draw inspiration from their upbringing in musically-gifted Den Haag and involvement in the queer scenes of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. CyberFairy777 creates delirious worlds with pop references, experimental sounds, and high-energy beats, but also appreciates a good deep ambient set. They co-founded Fever Dream, an event that breaks the norms of a typical rave by incorporating art and other performances. Wherever CyberFairy777 goes, expect fog machines, lights, and a demanding spell on the technician to set the vibe. They are not just a part of the rave, but the rave itself, and they give you a 777 for luck.
World Experience Center (live)
Post-club live act based between Den Haag, NL and Berlin with a penchant for cinematic, heatseeking sounds that seem to conjur an imminent world of hypercapital dissolution.
Kay Churcher is an installation artist working with spatial awareness and the senses. Born in 1996 in Edinburgh, she studied ArtScience at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague where she now resides. She creates site-specific immersive installations exploring the fleeting nature of experience and subjectivity. She employs a wide array of new media and sculpture to create her works while adapting each one to its surrounding environment. Using light, sound, projection, and architectural constructions she creates individual experiences for people to explore, drawing the attention to an often overlooked aspect of themselves or their environment.
