As part of the two-day AIR FESTIVAL at Manifesta15+ Biennale, Jonathan Reus will present the outcomes of his 2023-24 S+T+ARTS residency work Dadasets, which explores the hidden labor of dataset creation and AI training through the perspective of human voices. The work will be featured in a group exhibition of 10 international artists who have been working through 2023-2024 on interdisciplinary residency projects as part of S+T+ARTS AIR.
AIR FESTIVAL is organized under the S+T+ARTS AIR project, which inspires new ways of thinking and proposes innovative solutions exploring the concept of air. Artists, in collaboration with scientists and technologists, are pushing the boundaries of creativity, art, science and technology to address some of today’s most pressing environmental and societal challenges.
At the AIR Festival, you’ll experience how these artists are pushing the boundaries of creativity, merging art with science and technology to tackle some of today’s most pressing environmental and societal issues. Through their work, they aim to make the unseen visible, bridging the gap between human experiences and the natural and technological worlds.
This two-day event will showcase the work of the resident artists and provide a unique platform for dialogue and exchange between different fields of expertise.
AIR Festival is part of the Manifesta15+ Biennial in Barcelona.
