INCLUSIVE EXTENSIONS – SHIFTING BORDERS BY DESIGN Three-day workshop
January 8, 15, 22, 2020
Het Hof van Cartesius, Utrecht
10:30 – 16:30
In this three-day workshop, led by Marije Baalman and Simon Dogger, you can learn how to design and build a functional prototype that improves accessibility for people with a visual impairment. We will work together as a group and smaller subgroups, from discussion, concept, and experiment to realisation, to give you the knowledge, tools, and support towards realizing your own design.
We are looking for a diverse group of people, all with different abilities, to take part. The workshops are free of entrance, but registration is required and the number of participants is limited. Sign up through this form and please make sure you can join all three days of the workshop.
The workshops aim for a substantial representation of people with disabilities, in the roles of workshop leader, participant, and user. By working with disability-led organizations and individuals, we create an inclusive work space and flexible working methods.
