Jonathan Reus premiers iː ɡoʊ weɪ at the AI Music and Creativity Conference in Brighton. This semi-improvised performance with artificial voice systems explores abstract voice sounds in the tradition of dadaist phonetic poetry, following the trajectory of a performer whose voice and verbality is slowly escaping him. 

The theme of AIMC 2023 is Intelligent Performance Systems, investigating the question of how Artificial Intelligence is applied in real-time artistic performance. The event showcases software, physical musical instruments as well as interactive installations, with a focus on how artists engage creatively with intelligent objects that contribute to the ways we perform and think music. How do intelligent tools change the way we think and perform our music? What is the role of intelligent instruments in performance?

The AIMC 2023 programme includes performances, installations, demo sessions in addition to academic papers. It is a hands-on, performative and experimental music event, opening up opportunities for collaboration and co-playing.
