iii guidelines for excellence

iii has been founded with a specific vision for the type and quality of work to promote, and with specific values for how to operate as an organization. While in the early days these were naturally borne out by the small members and management team, with the recent, ongoing growth and layering of the organization it has become useful to explicitly formulate these fundamental principles.

The guidelines for excellence hereunder describe the standards to which contributors to the iii program are required to adhere so that iii as a whole can realize the excellent quality of work it envisions. Excellence is not only sought in the quality of presented artworks and programs. Excellence is equally sought in the ethical way of operation of the organization, at all levels.

The document is targeted in 2 directions: internally and externally. Internally it serves to inform all iii contributors about the values we collectively strive for and to which we are individually held. Externally it serves to inform our partners and stakeholders about the level of professional attitude that can be expected from iii, and to which iii wishes to be held accountable.
