This exchange program will be taking place in the period 2022 – 2024.

The program will be a bilateral exchange between the two organisations, who are offering artist residencies to artists based in The Netherlands and Taiwan. Through this exchange we will invite artists to reflect on the encounters between cultures in the 17th century in the island of Taiwan, known then as Formosa, during the time of Dutch colonisation. The program is part of the 400 anniversary of relations between The Netherlands and Taiwan which will be celebrated in 2024.

In the spring of 2022 Wen Chin Fu and Marije Baalman from iii will be travelling to Soulangh Cultural Park to initiate the exchange.
