Second Breath is a wearable lung that functions as an instrument. Inspired by the anatomy of frogs, it explores the challenges of holding breath, listening and being heard.
In a trance-like environment that blurs the lines between choir, performance, and choreography, Second Breath explores the primal essence of the voice: the breath. Central to the piece is a transformative wearable instrument – an extension of the performer’s lungs that shapes around their chest, creating a resonating chamber for sound.
